Flare is definitely a tank killer and dishes out massive damage with a slow casting time even Lv.20 Magic Guard + Lv. 20 Providence combo doesn't do much.

If you want her to excel in pvp specially in match battles I suggest to buff her with Casting Time -60

S tier in PVE but A tier in PVP because of the lack of innate AT reduction or speed cast from time mage. Having two AP intensive, AT mage jobs w/o speed cast is slow and bad.The fact that her ninja sub is unusable isn't a big deal because she uses it just to get the agility boost and the shadow runner passive. Even if she starts casting before enemies using her ninja AGI, her slow casting time will allow them to 🔥 or disable her before she casts. She requires magic baton or AT reducing VC and espers to compensate.

-20% on all physical dmg types that is sooo unfair these are worse then any SR unit stats.
And don't bring up her damage because it's just on par with other URs and not better. Also very bad kit (ninja on a mage seriously?) And very high ap consumption

and she actually used to be top tier in PVP, thanks to Ninja she got high mobility, sum that with Cosmo Plume and you got a single char one shotting all opponents at once lol time changes though so nowadays we got BRHelena with that role and Mediena Cons became too much to bear...maybe

How much damage is when is lb is lvl up?

She's a force to reckoned with specially in PVE. If she is outclassed in terms of speed/agi she will die instantly in PVP. Place her on a suitable position wherein you can kite your opponents effectively.

Thanks to smart coat(barrier) my mont could tank her flare without getting one shot atleast 1/4 of hp left with a lv99 med. Engelbert on the other hand would still get the L even with smart coat that -30% magic resist is dead weight.

You can get a Staff from the shop for her. It's a good starting weapon for her as long as you max it out. My Mediena is at level 84 and she's still using the basic staff until now lol.

Staff then wait for the Platinum Rod Event them +5 the hell out of it +15 slash, pierce, strike etc. is a huge boost.

Not sure what you are using her for but shes S for PVE only, she clears mobs fast and in a aoe, and tanks protect her. Shes not great fro PVP cause she gets one shot.

Without a doubt the BEST PVE character, there are multi rooms where you get kicked for not using a mediena, even if you got a high end cid they will still kick

You can get them with the hard quest (2 times a day, or 4 times a day with reset), in the general shop or on chill-day (both with visiore)

You can get her shards literally everywhere, from the shops, chocobo expedition and shards quest under world quests. Also, May is Mediena's focus month, you'll get some of her shards during daily logons. Hope that helps
