While it is true the a lot of mobile games get their income from the Whales, studies have shown that Whales or players only count for 5% of PAYING players, roughly 0.1% of the ENTIRE player base. FtP players are not "Freeloader" as you may claim, because if player activity hits a certain low point, the game is considered failed and shuts down, look at FFMobius for example.

As someone who works in the mobile gaming industry, I agree with the statement that F2P players are also an essential part of the player base since they compose of over 90% of the total player population. F2P helps foster the game community and thus adds great value to any game. Keep in mind that the goals and motivations between P2W and F2P players could be very different.

Almost any game will be easy if you drop cash in it on mobile but at the same time almost all of them don't give us a 100% guaranteed chance still we can whale and whale and still come out no better in results then any f2p player.
