Question

Is Wotvffbe F2P friendly?

Hi, I'm planning to start this game after the global launch. Currently I'm not planning to invest money into it. Is it possible to enjoy the game as a F2P player?

It was F2P friendly before they released 120 units.

If you’re not competitive and just want to play for PvE then I’d give it a shot as F2P.

No.

Part of me wishes I never started.

But now it’s too late.

Beware.

Na verdade acabou esse negócio de o jogo ser bonzinho com F2P depois que lançaram o Kain!

F2P friendly, yes, because the game gives you some really good units for free (Mont, Shadowlynx, and Mediena are all free and easy to max out) amd is also not stingy with the currency for rolling units and buying shards (special currency for maxing units out).

However, you need to temper your expectations on what you can achieve as F2P. If you think you're going to stand on the same stage as a day 1 kraken - or even a day 1 F2P - then think again because they have so much more progress (in terms of roster, VC, and gear development) over you that just won't be easily overcome.

And with new content coming out every other week, and PvP maps also getting changed every month or so, overall gameplay places "wide and deep rosters" at an advantage over newer F2P players who will inevitably struggle with their narrow roster.

But if you can temper your expectations (that you're not going to be anywhere near the same level of competency as an average WotV player for *at least* 3 months upon starting) and if you play with other players (or even just join a discord server to talk about the game) then you can have a good time, I guarantee it.

Honestly it's not really, by the time a f2p has maxed out units and gear the meta has already changed 3 times not to mention the 1 year anniversary is going to add more levels and materials needed.

it is f2p friendly only in global version, because we know what unit/vision card that will be released in the next 4 months, so we can actually plan on how we use our visiore.

If you spent 3 dollars, you are not F2P, but I agree that it is F2P friendly.

Yes, I know this is years old question, but if anyone would ask the same question 6 months after the release, it is quite F2P friendly

I'm an F2P player and has only spent like 3 dollars in total, and I've managed to Max Lv99 3 limited UR units, and maybe some others even managed to max more.

As long as you are patient enough and able to manage your Visiore(in-game currency), you will be able to enjoy PvP content. But if you play PvE content, you will be able to enjoy the content at the start of your game.

No not at all. Just go play a more generous game like Raid Shadow Legends.
