I already +50 and 5 stars on my axe but my attack wont max out 152/212. How can i upgrade it to 212/212?

You can't.
Stats are 100% random upgrades as you level; they don't cap when you reach max level.
You can use ATK hammers to get a little more, if you haven't already.
You can also reset the weapon back to 0 with a special hammer, if you want to try again from scratch.
Those are your options. Hope this helps.

Did you use a seal after every weapon lvl upgrade?

What Type is your Axe? It can be Vital, Critical, Magic, or Assault. Normally when you upgrade your weapon the stats for the weapon type are upgraded primarily with the secondary stats upgraded by a smaller margine.
