have a feeling that's not whisper, probably his resurrected wife.

As much as I'd like to see that, I find it highly unlikely that his wife wears the exact same outfit and wields the exact same sword, which can be seen between her legs at the very bottom of the card, that Whisper does.

Perhaps his dead-wife is actually whisper herself

Gilg is not immune to charm though...
