Gumi is more stingy... i play ffbe before and they need to spend money. My friend didn't spend and he got to much problem on the game lol

Yes it is. I'm playing the game on the JP server since the release, and now have Lvl 99 Gilgamesh, Lvl 89 Stern, Lvl 89 Oedle, Lvl 99 Merirook. I have 8 UR units, 6 UR espers. There are many Lapis given free and free multi summon opportunities. Definitely F2P friendly.
