After 2* Ive seen some levels give 4 per level

After awaken the esper back to lv 1 again. Meaning that you have lv 40 sp. Plus later maxed lv 80 sp ... so total around (40+80) × 2 = 240 sp..

So far it seems like we get 2 SP per level. Though I've not gone higher than 40 yet so IDK about after awakening.
