So the Magic version gives you 120 MAG, and is the recommended version to get on JP sites.

But if you have weapon with MAG higher than 120, wouldn't it be better to go with the Barrier version?

Barrier gives you 12 SPR as opposed to 120 MAG but since stats don't stack between equipment I feel like it might be the better choice.

Thoughts? Am I missing something here?

If you are gonna use it on healers like Ildyra, I dont think you need those spr since they would probably have a base good magic resist. Alternatively, if you want more defence probably plat armour might be better. For healers like Ildyra, i dont think you really need to be scared of magic attacks, should be more wary of slash attackers, missile or pierce. Rarely you will get hit with magic.

I just spent the last medals I had to buy a stack of pleasures to craft a +5 and when I did the bulk craft I chose the wrong option, I don't have any medals left to dissassemble and buy a new recipe...
