It is a ff4 colleb spear. Can't get the spear recipe no more unless they bring it back for the third time.

It was made for Kain and at the time there were no wind lancers besides SR Sosha.

After a ton of grind, I only have a +3 and a +4. So close, but no +5.

Will the wind spear come back up, or is it only a FFIV Collab item?

There's a reddit comment that did the math, not sure if I can link it without getting flagged for spam..
but if you get 4.5k per hard run you get 25 tickets, after free tickets you'd need 2610 boss tickets for 87 fights and 13.6k energy spent farming

I think the global event for this would only reach +4 wind spear at max? correct me if i'm wrong

There is a reroll when you finish all the boxes that reset so you can get the +5

They're designed to make it pretty easy to get to +4, but you have to grind 4x as long to get the +5 because you don't pieces or summons for score bonuses anymore

Is better Critical or Assault for Kain?

One of the best spears for Kain is the Crit Wind Spear, this is agreed by higher meta because it gives him 18 accuracy. It benefits him more because he does not have a 100% hit move.
