Been reading it's best to save 'till the FFT banner comes and just buy shards for the URs you have in the meantime. Is this correct?

FFT Banner has Cid which seems crazy powerful, I personally would save till you had 12k or more just to roll him and spend the overage, I’ve only been playing for 4 days tho but reached rank 50 in that time and have level 45 troops so I don’t know if I’m the best candidate to advise how much to save for it
