All enemies are weak to magic, with little to no SPR and elemental resistances as well. It can be much faster if you bring a team of magic damage dealers, instead of using a balanced team, and it's also doable without a tank. Ildyra or Helena (Black-Robed Witch) are good options because of their calculator subjobs having wide area and instant attacks.
Aside from Typhon, the biggest threat are the Arcane Serpents. They have increased evasion rate, which can occasionally make you miss your attacks if you don't have a decent amount of dexterity. They can chain attacks since they have the same speed, and can also reduce slash attack resist, or DEF, with a counter ability that has a chance to inflict paralyze. Ranged magic attacks are the safer approach, and positioning your mage to where the reinforcements will spawn can be a very easy way to sweep all 4 of them if you have strong area magic attacks.
Typhon is mostly just a big HP enemy here. Often times it will use area magic attacks that can reduce DEF, but it won't deal that much damage if you have some magic resistance, even towards mages. Melee units will have more of an issue since its counter ability will push your attackers away, but for the most part, he's quite easy to deal with once other enemies are down.
