There's some trick to farm those recipes on the event? I mean, i farmed like crazy until now (all free login energies plus 10+ large refills per day) and i still have only 24 recipes.
I'm still a newbie and i still can't auto the hard boss, so i'm doing the normal one.
Already collected all the recipes from the score rewards, but i'm literally using all my might on this and neglecting pretty much everything else.
Really wish i'm not wasting my time trying something i can't reach anyway.

reset once you pulled the main reward to get to tier 5 faster. don't skip boss fight. you can get 30-40 tickets if you score 7-9k on boss fight.

If anyone cares the medal formula for hard bosses is 1/2 the 2 leftmost digits of your score (rounded down) so 8200 will give 41 medals as 1/2 of 82 is 41… this is true across all hard bosses in box events

it has more hp and still has the others stats better then the other version.

this is a dps item, if you want an defence item there are much better out there. defence is waste

if you're going to use this on cloud, it doesn't really matter which one to craft since cloud have 100% hit and crit skill.
also since he's squishy, even with 16 def he will still get 1-2 shot anyway.

I think in general, it might be a good idea to grab a defense variant; because having tons of Crit seems overkill. PVE, you’ll be hitting max damage (11,999<ExJob>) quite frequently without having the extra Crit. But by having 16 whole points of defense, you’ll be eating hits like a champ, and still will be able to retaliate with immense force. Besides, having a Defense variant makes it more versatile, so you could equip it to lots of units!
That’s my take on this equip, hope you guys find this informative! ;))

Or a waste not to get Def or Aim. Completely depends on what items you're comboing with.
12% Def IMO > 9% chance for 25% more damage on a lot of chars. Can replace def gear for extra DPS.
Unless you're gonna go for a reflex dodge glass cannon Cloud & bank on RNG. Then you probably want crit since he has like 4 guaranteed hit moves.

I hit 65 def on a quick Engel builder but it didn't come out right at all & it rarely does. People that think they understand stats in this game are usually idiots.
In game factual stats with Golem, 16def bracer & 20def brig my not max Engel is sitting at 79def. So if you want up to 80% less damage + crit & def pen that's an idea to use.

WoL hit 70def.
Personally I'd take 16def + sword of light + 10def armor. Should be a nice WoL combo.

Even Cloud I might take 16def and use acccursed armor or saint circlet is a great one .

All who you're using it on and what you need more of. Barrier if you're putting it on someone say Vinera or Shadowlynx who've got high crit chance anyways, but if this is for a beefy unit (Unkillable Zazan or King Mont) or a missle unit (Niv'lu or even Garvall) then go crit chance. Cause it's all gonna come down to, "What do you need to bump your units to that next level of kicka$$?"

In addition, more units in pvp being used are Casters so critical would sound like a better option to use fewer turns to bring the enemy down.

There's no barrier but I agree.
If you're not gonna get hit or have low HP like the archers you probably want aim, crit, range up and hope you DPS hard enough.
If you're gonna put it on someone tankier that could take a few hits you might want def. Even with diminishing returns this with defbrigandine could take WoL or Engel to like 70def. Which can mean a lot more if you're a PVE focused also.

do Trials of Reckoning
doing quests you get boss tickets
with boss tickets you 🔥 boss and get Medals
with medals you get to roll on different Tiers from 1 to 5
whenever you get the Main reward from one Tier you can go ahead for the next one if you want and ignore the remaining rewards
once you get to Tier 5 you can always reset it after getting everything(?)
