Starts the fight with 7 enemies separated on both sides. Each side has at least a thief, knight, and a time mage. 3 more enemies will spawn after a few turns into the fight. Each enemy has 20% elemental resistance to the element that they are strong against, and -10% to what they are weak against, except for Light enemies that only have -10% to Dark element, and there are 6 Light enemies in total. Bandits are also weak to magic attacks, making it more beneficial for Garvall since it's basically his quest.
All of the enemies have noticeably high AGI, and the Bandits like to start the fight by using debuffing abilities/attacks that reduces your accuracy, making hitting them more difficult. The time mages are there to act as supports. Because they have casting time reduction at start of the fight, they can constantly cast haste and quicken on the bandits, making them quite a high priority threat.
Since most of the enemies are slashing type, you'll want to get some slash type resistances. VC's like Iron Giant, or Hourne's First Division can help with some survivability and increase your damage at the same time. Some accuracy increase might be needed as well, since some of them use accuracy down attacks.
