Aranea is a limited-time FFXV collaboration unit. She's a powerful tank buster that has high DEF piercing rate and access to remove all buffs ability (Equalizer) as an anti-death resisting move. She can deliver lethal attacks, but landing them could potentially be her issue due to her noticeably low DEX and LUCK.
With a base of 40 DEF piercing rate from passive, her Limit Burst attack will have 80 DEF piercing rate and also reduce the enemy's pierce resist. She then has strong follow-up options since she can remove all buffs, reduce AGI, or reduce single target resistances. This lets her take out enemies pretty quickly, or at the very least, softens them up for your other units.
