The damage it deals is based on how much you are hit for. If you are hit for low dmg, you will only hit for a couple hundred. Get hit with a crit for 2k, u will counter for 2.5k.

I don't know if this is bugged but I think this is connected to Faith

level 15 Dragon's Blade when hit and triggers the skill
I absorb 30ish damage and counter-attacks 30ish damage

the unit has 90+ Bravery and 30 Faith

but Counter Attack reaction does 900+

My Thancred barely even scratches when this procs. I am wondering with the scaling is as well. This website has little info.

Not sure if it is a bug but it does proc way more often on high faith. On a 97 faith Thancred I've seen it proc 3 times in arena doing anywhere form 700-1500 damage+heal

Damage?

I have this ability to 10 on Thancred but it seems to do no damage, especially when compared to jugular rip. Is this something I am missing?

I think it depends to enemy damage attack, the higher damage attack to us and the higher the damage will be

Against physical attack, it should be bravely, Against magical attack, it should be Faith. But we have not tested it yet.

yes I get that is the activation for it, but the damage is what I meant, It does extremely low damage to enemy units when it activates even when used by Sterne who has high physucal attack
