Hello, Where is the quest to get thanced's master ability 1? I already maximized thanced to lv120, but in the ability set: there are 1 coloumn that still not learned. Where to get that?

If you've maxed his level then you should be able to access his character quest and unlock both of his master abilities just like how you do with your other characters.

Click on your thancred unit and it is in the top right corner of the character art. It looks like a scroll with an X on it. If you still can't access it maybe try going further in your story quests.

for some units yeah, limit bursts like med cosmo plune or ayaka healing is dope. but for thancred, he's like ramza, limit burst will be useful in certain situations only

limit breaks are key to high end play though. if you want to go far in raids a good limit break would definite make him better. the 2nd master ability doesnt make up for a lack of limit break cause gilgamesh is 2X cost AND HAS a limitbreak and it slows which if you stack with steal time youll be chaining for days, especially with the slash resist down.

so compared to ruin sterne and gilgamesh thancred truly does pale in comparison. sure he has better stats than a regular UR but for double cost and no limit break?

These are not even the same kind of characters. Gil is a mostly squishy support at this point. Ruin Sterne is a damage-focused bruiser.

Thancred is a bruiser as well, with high HP and a resist bubble to help with tankiness.

Earlier arguments about raids and slow mechanics are kind of irrelevant imo. Do you like light units? Do you like this character? Is there room in your team? Done.

He isn't worth it. His shards costs 2x that of any other URs (save for Gilgamesh), plus he isn't all that great. He's probably one of those units where if you get lucky with the event tickets summon then, great. If not, he probably isn't worth a single visore.

He's still C rank in global. Once his EX and master ability 2 arrives, he becomes the highest ATK unit in the game and some useful skill buffs to make him at least "decent" or higher.

But the problem is that he's still nowhere near the best light slash unit, even after his EX jobs—not even close to Elena and Locke.

Why does he need to be the best light slash unit? He's a free unit that got a big upgrade that makes him viable to use in PvP and PvE. Use him first before you complain and based on what he can do on JP server, he deserves the A+ rank.

the only way I see this guy will be useful if gumi decided to add def piercing rate, disable (or any debuff) for his gunblazing skill and a skill like erase which could remove every buff on a character, all of it should be in his EX

In jp his hp reaches almost 10k lion heart has limited effect of slash pen 20 and light up 15, hyper now no longer takes hp and gives ap, he gains Def pen, new ex is ranged aoe. He's a freaking brute
