How does the +30 Ice Attack actually work?
Is this adding damage to every attack in the element of ice damage or does it only enhance a characters ice based attacks meaning it wouldn't do much for someone like say Sosha who has no ice abilities?

Nope. ice UNITS do not benefit from ice att+. Only ice element magic attacks, unless the ability specifies otherwise.

It literally gives all of her Main Dragoon Class Abilities (Jump variations) both boosts of ice + pierce. Her other jobs only benefit from the ice boost.

It DOES affect atk skills,not just magic

+5 has noticeable difference, so pretty sure it's better to stick with the assault

That +30 ice attack is pretty much wasted and has no effect for any unit since it ONLY adds bonus damage onto ice elemental abilites and nothing else. At the moment there are no units who can equip this lance who also have ice abilities. This is the flaw in this lance.

A lot of her damaging abilities are either ice + piercing, or ice + slash. For the ice + piercing abilities, it will apply the +15 pierce multiplier as well as the +30 ice multiplier.

Been farming nonstop for past few days. All I can say is that my velvety fluid is nowhere near the 2.5k mark. Doubt anyone can craft +5 within a week of event.
