All of the enemies here have unit attack resistance up, and some resistances to most attack types and elements, making them quite tanky and difficult to deal with unless you have plenty of units with area attacks.
Luckily, most of the enemies here uses single target physical slash attacks, so it's easy to build a tank that can soak up all the damage easily by going to the middle of the area. Realm Reaver, Odin and Metal Daemon, Iron Giant are easy defensive options to tank the hits.
The "dark elements only" mission will be somewhat doable if you have a properly built Whisper, and an extra 1 or 2 dark damage dealer, then use a friend Black-Robed Helena.
