Thief Skill level?

Do I need to max this out to be fully efficient, or it is not worth to max it at all?

the steal skill starts to shine at 18 380k gil, lv 19 for 516k gil and lv 20 for 698k gil. so ideally, steal is only worth using at the last 2 levels. So having a theif is mandatory for farming.

Skill level? You meant JobLv? Then it's worth to raise. Your units get additional original stats.
