Help! It needs around 1900 sap to craft I have over 2000 but sap shows red and won't craft +5 what's up?

Did you consider the material needed for the item upgrade?
It was shown at the bottom before the crafting begin.

you need to add the materials from the item upgrade and the awakening, so if it says 2000 to make the item and 900 to awaken the consumed items, you'd need 2900, but the tooltip would show both not red because you have over 2000

mean as for raw dodge - u may have 15(Silphyd esper)+20(Shiva vision party buff)+10(new Sanctum assasins mr vision unit buff)+27 from sage hat + innate eva (master ability/passives etc) + tp abilities used through the battle

so in the end - SPR (if there are 22) - BiS, ACC - 2nd best also dex provide ~5acc for 25 total which is solid enough though 15 lower than alexandrite... well better to craft both just in case as usual lol

You read the comment wrong, it meant 2 spr and 22 dex, the barrier type only has 10 SPR

Don't overthink this, it's an easy to grind lesser alex ring for people who missed it, with small almost negligable magic res, and it's an accessory not armor piece

You lose nothing but materials by making one

No. A lot of equipments give magic resistance, in future there will be an accessory with 10+ magic resistance available.

Just farm it especially if you haven't play that long.
This is quite easy to farm unlike crafting item from raid. Just turn auto and repeat on and you are good to go. Also, if you chase something from FF 14 banner ( especially scion of shadow), check the whimsy shop every 30 minutes. Do it over once the whimsy shop has been reset.

Aim is arguably a tactical alternative to alex ring especially if you didn't get a high fusion or don't need to worry about crit

This appears to be incomplete.

The Vital type offers 182 HP 2 SPR 22 Dex and 5 Aim.

The Barrier type offers 127 HP 10 SPR 22 Dex and 5 Aim.

The Aim type has 127 HP 2 SPR 22 Dex and 20 ACC.

Also.

+1 Increase magic resistance (1%) for self
+2 Increase magic resistance (2%) for self
+3 Increase magic resistance (3%) for self
+4 Increase magic resistance (4%) for self
+5 Increase magic resistance (8%) for self

Seems it can be worn by pretty much anyone.

It’s from the FF 14 rerun event which came out after the anniversary in jp so we got like 3 months
