4 Lv. 99 Orlandeaus got rekt by the brutal multi stage. Given, we were all on auto... but the difficulty is enough that you might want to consider running manual, or maybe run another unit altogether instead of Orlandeau. Unless you have Smart Coat up and running. The mages do a LOT of damage.

Yup. I'm seeing that you have to start off in manual, or switch between the two when necessary. With my team only having 3 good units for PvP, even a solo run with 5 units, I have to begin the stage in manual or else someone ends up knocked out. Definitely gotta do some manual things to beat this challenge. Thanks for all the advice!

Well I always do 4 Cid with auto and no problem. Easy to clear

Still can't do 3 instaenous kills but zazan charming the black mages helps

The One Who Beat It

Target the mage first, 🔥 them quick. Never go auto, even cid get bullied in here, the mage got stonera aoe with 1,5k dmg. Also don't underestimate units like Robb Hourne, he's quite usefull with his lancer sub job

I soloed brutal with thancred , my only problem is i cant 🔥 3 units simultaneously woth him so the shard is gone for me

Here's something that I haven't seen anyone mention:
If you take too much time (too many attacks) to the iron giant. It will cast an ATK and DEF boost that will criple your dps.
I had my Gaffgarion doing ~900 dmg down to ~200 plus it started hitting my Mont with ~1800 dmg hits.
The quest description has a warning about too many attacks, I presume this is it.

It's when the giant get it's hp to 50% it will start buffing(lvl80 brutal) and 25%(lvl60 brutal)

Prepare your mages and orlandeaus for the that triple 🔥 mission and prepare your Ayakas for the Raise and full-Life. your units are going to die a lot.

It really isn't. Even those whales would have difficulty clearing this, especially if you did it auto. It was never meant to be done auto with just 4 players/characters.

Lol it isn't. It's doable, solo is very much possible in auto. On multi, with the right setup, it is also doable even on semi-auto.

Is golden armor worth crafting? Seems like it gives a lot of decreased stats...

Decreased stats? Your characters' proficiency in heavy armors are probably lower than what was required for them to use it to it's upmost potential.

if you level up the armor, the stats will go up to 0 or higher

2x 89+ medienas at the right starting position can clear the big crowd in front of the iron giant pretty easily with cosmo plume. the rest of the units after that are pretty much easy prey
