I assume it's because of her lack of high end White Mage options since she's a main job Cleric (a fairly underwhelming Job to have in general) so she lacks Holy to really hit for high damage as well as Full Life and Curaga and if she goes spell blade she can't really tank for Taunting and has to give up her actually useful healing options that come from her White Mage Subjob.
I leveled her as my first healer because of Calamity Guard. That just seems so useful and after seeing a video of what Tower will look like, def glad I got that skill. I'm having grace as my backup. I have Macherie but her skills look blech. :(
I used her quite long before i got ayaka. She's a descent healer.she's not a dedicated support like grace but she can contribute some damage with her banish skill. I even prefer her more than Macherie because she has curada. For me she's A at the least.
If she starts out with cure as an ability that stays with her main class of cleric (which cannot be changed), then why can she learn cure a 2nd time for her white mage subclass? Does the level of those 2 stack, meaning you can get cure to level 40?
nope, she will have 2 cure skill with different level for each job,
ex : if you have lvl 5 cure on cleric class and just learned the 2nd cure skill, then you will have 1 cure lvl 5 and 1 cure lvl 1
it's just how the game works, but you'll be grateful later when the tower dungeon come :)
Actually it's a plus side since she can cast cure more than anyone can. Skills have usage limit. If not mistaken cure can only be used 8 times. But for her it's twice :) since her base and sub job have cure .
