Golem is weak to strike and wind, and mostly attacks using stone type spells. After a few turns, 3 earth elementals will spawn near the center area. 3 more will spawn after a few turns has passed. The fight will end once you defeat golem, similar to ifrit's fight. The earth elementals have fairly high HP, making it difficult to burst down.
It's going to be incredibly important to bring a magical tank like Rain to take the focus of attacks, and to separate from the rest of the team. Otherwise, you will get splash damage from the stonera spams from the earth elementals.
If you are using a calculator unit, the center area in between the team's unit placement and the golem is height 5, which can be an issue if you want higher heals. You can lure golem to the initial unit placement height (4) by moving all your units back when you get your turn.
Dario and Cadia are the ideal tanks for this fight since they have spellblade job and some innate earth resistance.
The only thing left to bring with them are the defensive setups. There are MR variations of the VCs if you don't have the UR version like Tonberry, Bloody Moon, or Sanctum Assassins.
Since there aren't any wind strikers, it's better to use the strong magic attackers like Howlett or Halloween Leela instead. But most strong damage dealer that uses strike or magic attacks will work here.
If you are using magic dps, be sure to use Typhon esper since it has earth killer, wind attack, and high mag. Otherwise Cactuar or any other high mag espers are good.
