Omega Raid Boss Event

Tranquil Warmth VC is available after defeating Gold Cactuar level 5.

If you summoned for any of the recent units like Jayden or Cloud, you can already make a missile focused team using some old or budget units.

Jayden is the ideal choice for the raid simply because of his element. You can then pair him with Fina and/or Elsirelle to also get the benefits of any Light ATK increasing VC. Using Frederikas Dream means that you can also just pick any other missile type unit. Creysse being a decent option since she's a free unit that can reach level 120 without visiores.

Cloud and Frederika are another really good missile combo units. Cloud's SOLDIER's Honor can help with saving some AP for multiple units, and Frederika has a range increasing area buff. Having both Scorpion Sentinel Esper and VC will give them a significant boost as well. Otherwise, Coeurl is a pretty good option too.

Elena works quite well against Omega due to her element. She can pretty much solo the boss until around level 70~80 Omega with Illusory Bell. Though you will need to disable her buffs, and Magic Commutation as her counter ability can be useful, but not important. Rune Knight sub job for Banishga Blade also helps. Max her faith so she can deal more damage, and have more chance to proc the counter ability.

This can give you quite a headstart since she's in the Large raid bonus and you can bring her alone with the 4 player multiplayer room for more bonuses.

Past level 80~100, she can duo with another Light so you can use the "4 units, 2 Players" for extra bonus rewards. Elena's multihit abilities and high AGI + AGI down on Omega makes it easier for her to deal high damage along with your other unit. Even magic damage dealers like Yuna or Sakura are fine despite Omega having 25% magic resist.

Omega has 15% resistance to slash, but it doesn't really matter as much for strong units that can reduce slash resistance, or Elena since she's good with slash chains. They are also part of the raid unit bonus, so it's worth bringing them for the fight.

Duane can reduce enemy's Dark and Slash resistance, so you can pretty much bring any other Dark units to bulldoze through the raid as always.

KoR Sterne and Robb Hourne have Samurai as one of their available jobs, which has access to Kongou for its machine killer to help with burst damage. Elsirelle is also good to pair with Elena since she has Drain Rush.

There aren't that many Machine or Dark killers that are easily available, but if you happen to have these espers and need the damage boost, you can pick up their skill boards that give either Machine or Dark killers.

Scorpion Sentinel is essentially made for Cloud, which coincidentally is also really good for this raid since it has Lightning ATK and Machine killer. If you happen to have it without Cloud, then simply put it on Frederika.

Two-Headed Dragon has ATK stats that's good for units like Kilphe (Summer) or Elsirelle, while Carbuncle is good for the MAG related units like Elena, Yuna, or Sakura.

The Missile ATK party that you used to beat Omega will work just as well against Gold Cactuar. But if you don't have any, or used non bonus units, then this is where you'd want to put in the bonus unit.

Raid bonuses don't stack together, so only the biggest one is applied. Glaciela has the "Large" bonus, but Gold Cactuar is weak to Viktora because of her element, who is at "Medium" bonus only.
