Notice: This tier list also includes units on JP server and takes their EX 120 abilities into consideration. Units are not sorted from best to worst.

Missing units, wrong ratings, or any input can be given in the comments.

SS: Gamechangers / Meta Defining.
S: Top tier.
A: Good outside of mono teams and has useful buff/debuffs to help the party.
B: Situational.
C/D: Outdated / Just No.

If this was a PvP tier list, Setia should be higher and V.Ildyra should be lower. Tifa should also be in S tier.

PVE is so easy it's a joke, no point in trying to pull the best units for pve when any 🔥 UR can do it.

There's a difference when farming with Little Leela compared to Ruin Sterne.

Also you must not be into nightmare content.

As someone who reaches top 500 almost every week, while I do agree that Oberon is very powerful, there are some downsides. But number 1 is: For all you Oberon users, use Alexandrite ring, PLEASE. Where's your accuracy?!

Her Izayoi skill is now fixed, will not be affected by reflect. So worth it to counter Celes :) But Moore is a good pair with Celes, if you want to build a water team.

hmm Cetia is A+ but not S... I'm new and have just had her but is that because she has too much tools for piercing, debuffing and buffing ? (I mean not totally focus on dealing damage or increasing her own atk/crit)

Yes but now her VC has not been released so her damage can't be optimized at the moment. So I can only use her insane range to bully others

"i wouldn't take the tier lists on this site that seriously" Yes, definitely. She's a great unit that's worth raising if anyone managed to get her. The meta isn't something you always have to think about, especially since they change easily and is already different in GL compared to JP. However, having it shown like this can make it easier to see what things are like, or going to be.

I definitely agree with Duane and K Mont getting demoted. Honestly, as crazy as it might sound, BRH might be next. The dps of new characters is getting out of control and can one shot her with barrier on. She can still be super dangerous though.

I think units like Zazan, jeume, Locke, jayden and bellis are SS.
Zazan is still great and have good build with penetration or full Eva - jeume amazing in mono wind - Locke is a future 🔥 - bellis Best healer in jpn right now - jayden, Elena, engelbert or yuna is a real cáncer in global.

engelbert in a+? C'mon guys He is minimum s.

Anyway is just my opinion.

engelbert is a tier lower compared to other modern tanks since the newer ones pretty much have innate hate, higher damage, and better defensive buffs. But he does work well in light due to good elemenal support.

locke can be argued to be ss seeing how much of an issue he became in jp, but the others you mentioned aren't strong "must pulls".

@Uroucyon At the very least, Engel should be higher than WoL. While WoL is more versatile, Engel can take more hits and can surprisingly do okay-ish against magic.

I've never seen a WoL at high level, but you'll find Engels protecting Elena here and there.
